10 days late scared to test again

Hi
I’m now 10 days late I was due on 28th feb, I tested when I was 4 days late but got bfn
I’m too scared to test again now, is it possible to still be pregnant?
I’m normally 28-29 days so really don’t understand how I could possibly be this late, I’m normally always on time.
The test I used was an ASDA one that I had in the cupboard from around 12 months ago, but it wasn’t expired so I don’t know if it’s the test or not.
I’ve been checking my cervix daily and it’s high and soft.
Has anyone tested around the same time and got bfn and later got a bfp? Xx

Thanks that gives me a bit of hope, we been trying for 4 years now and sort of give up on the idea until this, i think I’ll try wait another week as I’d rather get AF than another bfn xx
