Our little girl is 10 days old and we still can't settle on her name. We have three we really like but we feel like we are going round in circles trying to choose.

The ones we like are
Evie May
Imogen May
Freya Merewen

Our surname begins with C so these all work fine with it. They also seem to all suit her so my idea that we'd know which one when she arrived hasn't worked at all!

Evie was our favourite during pregnancy but I have since become a bit worried it is getting very popular? On the other hand I don't actually know any Evie's so I'm not sure how popular it really is. OH also suggested Elvie or Elvy as an alternative to Evie.

Opinions on the names would be great please, I'm getting worried she'll end up being 'baby' until she's old enough to pick a name herself. Thanks!

All lovely name but Evie May has a lovely sound to it.

Haven't heard Imogen in a while, I love all the names x

If you love them all and would be happy with them all why not write them down, stick them in a hat and let fate decide!
I like all of them, they're all equally beautiful :)

I recently saw on a baby name site - a new baby named Evangeline, nickname Eva. I thought that was different & beautiful. I love Eva/Eve - maybe less common than Evie? Or you could use Evangeline or Evelyn, nn. Evie - that way she has other options if you do discover it's very popular with her peers.

Imogen is also quite beautiful!

Maybe combine 2 favorites?

Imogen Freya
Freya Imogen
Evie Imogen

Evelyn Freya
Evangeline Freya

Best of luck deciding!! And congrats on your new baby girl!

Imogen would be my pick but I honestly really like all of them. :)

They are all lovely names.. I like Evie :)

My little one is called Remi scarlet.

God knows what I'd do if I had another girl! Took me months to find that one xx

I much prefer eve or Eva.not a fan of Freya .Imogen is nice too

I love Evie May I don't know any Evie's I think it's a beautiful name. Don't second guess yourself go with your gut feeling

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the input, and am vwry glad to know people like our shortlist. I think I have been second guessing myself a little, I find these kinds of decisions really difficult and have a horror of regretting the name I chose somehwere down the line lol!

I love the idea of combining two of these - maybe that will solve my indecision (or give me even more options :D). I have a close friend called Eva so although I love the name I can't use it , and Evangeline is not quite my cup of tea, but i really like Evelyn so that is a definite possibility! Thanks ladies!

It all depends whether popularity is a problem for you?

If you want your daughter to have a name without being Evie C etc in the class (I'm an 80s born Kelly so was always Kelly R) then is go with Imogen. Beautiful yet very rare.

Or elongate the name as a PP said a Evangaline or even something similar like Eleni-Mae x

Another vote for Imogen May. It really stands out from the rest!

I really like Elvie, but I think it would be misread as Evie so I'm voting against it for that reason though of course it wouldn't take too much correcting for people to get the name right.

I like Imogen out of the name choices you posted.

im biased as my daughter is called Evie.
just to let you know the girl names at our toddler group -
evie,ava,ava,isla,aria,eva,Ivy

so although we dont no any other Evies at all there are alot of similar names
