100mg Clomid failed.

Hello,

Today I had my follicle tracking ultrasound and I have no follicles. No response at all to 100mg of Clomid.

They also found a 3cm cyst that has appeared since my last scan in October.

The ultrasound technician couldn't tell me much and I have to wait till 26th June for my next appointment.

Anyone been through this? Does anyone know what my next step is?
What will they do with a 3cm cyst? Isn't that too big to be a polycystic ovary cyst?

Feeling so down and desperately need some hope!

Hi LouOscar01, I was in a similar situation expect I was taking Femara (Letrozole), my first cycle (Jan 15) I took 2.5mg but had no response so the cycle was abandoned.
In April I went back to start 2nd cycle but they found a 56mm cyst so they would not carry out treatment and said to relax this cycle and hopefully the cyst would be gone by the next cycle.
In May (this cycle) U/S showed the cyst had gone (oh i felt it burst alright) so I did follicle tracking with 5mg of Femara again up to cd17 (Tuesday) I showed no sign of follicle growth and my lining also wasn't great, again it was decided to abandon this cycle.
Thankfully my doctor was there on Tuesday and we decided to move me to injectables (gonal f 50), follicle tracking and IUI next cycle. So now I just have to wait for AF to show.

I'm not really sure what will be tried next time for you, maybe the next dose of clomid 150mg? Have you got testing done like bloodwork, HSG or your partner had semen analysis?

I quite fancy the injectables they sound effective! I have had plenty of bloodwork done...my doctor is very keen to take my blood at every opportunity!! Haven't had an HSG yet. OH is having sperm analysis next week.

SO desperate to ovulate! I can't imagine how happy I would be!

Maybe mention to your doctor that you would like a HSG, just to ensure nothing is wrong with your tubes
