10lb Babies out there?

My little one is coming up to 10 lbs (only 3 weeks old)... he's a big guy! He's eating around 4oz of pumped breast and/or formula. I feel like he's eating a lot, but he seems to be hungry after eating that at times. Anyone else have babies around the same weight? How much to they eat? He usually eats that every 3 hours.

My son was 10lbs when he was born and he was eating 3oz every 3 hours. By the time he was a month old he was up to 4oz.

Sounds like you/cameron are doing great.

Finnlay is the same he was nearly 10lb at 3 weeks he is getting weighed today and I know he has grown loads!.He is having 4 oz every 3 hours but has had some 5oz bottles this week as he has been draining 4oz.Think they are just hungry boys!!.x

zach is 8 weeks and weighs around 10lbs. he takes 5-6oz every 3-4hrs

Thanks so much ladies! I was scared of having one of those 200lb babies by the time he's 2! LOL.... I'm glad to get ideas of what other mom's are feeding their little ones. I feel a lot better once reading your replies I'm happy he's getting the right amount for what he weighs
I think I was just thinking 'omg, he's only 3 weeks, and he's already eating this much'.... but he's a big boy, so he's gotta eat!!

hi my LO's 5weeks and she got weighed yesterday shes now 10lbs 4oz the midwife said to put her up to 5oz's she has that every 4hours

Im so glad im not alone!! Archie was 10lb 7oz at birth, i tried breastfeeding only but by day 10 just couldn't settle him as he was staving all the time and had gone down to 9lb2oz. Now he's on 4oz every 2-2.5hours which is a nightmare. I thought if i upped his amount to 5oz im gonna have a massive, podgy baby but coming on here has made me realise that im not alone and he's just a hungry baby.

Callie was 9 lbs 3 ozs at birth.. and now she is 2 weeks and a bit old.. I just put her formula up to 4 ozs.. sometimes she drinks it dry.. other times she gags when I am feeding it to her.. sometimes she is every 2-2.5 hours.. others she is up to 6 when she is sleeping.. thank goodness for her only waking up once a night..

My little man is 6 weeks and weighs 12lb, he is on 5oz every 3 to 4 hours with a 6oz before bed. I have been worried aswell, it just seems we have big babies who like their food . I have been told he will even out soon, he is putting on around 11ozs a week. Aptamil must suit him , take care XX

Freya is 10lb 2 oz at 12 weeks and eats 6-7oz every 4/5 hours except for one 8-9oz feed in the night.

When my little man got checked last week when he was 10weeks 4days he was 13lbs 14oz. . and he was 7lbs 5oz at birth

He takes 6/7Oz at every feed, but we feed on demand and dont keep much eye on the times lol but so far today he has had 31oz and 4 of those oz where hungry baby and his on aptimal
