For the past few days Zach's schedule has gone crazy. He's been refusing his second nap, taking hours to get to sleep for it. The other day he didn't wake in the morning until 9am, napped at midday for THREE hours (he's normally a short napper) then went to bed having had one nap. Looks like he's doing that again today. Has anyone experienced this? Everything I've read says it's too early for the transition, but he seems determined!

He typically goes to bed at 6.30ish and has a dream feed at 10pm. He CAN sleep through but usually doesn't, waking a few times for his dummy or for no apparent reason.

He was sleep trained at 8 months and this is all a vast improvement.

His normal schedule since 8 months has been

Nap 1 10ish
Nap 2 2-3
Bed 6.30

It's not too early. My eldest did it around this age and so is my 11 month old. I'm finding he's dropping his morning nap or just snoozing for 10 muns in the pram but has extended his afternoon nap. He had a 3 hour siesta the other day.

Ah, reassuring that I'm not alone! One site I read outright said that before 15 months it's too early and he'd be overtired. But he seems fine so far! Maybe it'll be a case of some days 1 some days 2 for a few months...I like to know where I stand though!
