No bashing please.

I schedualed my c-section today. I have it planned for 39 weeks. And my decision to have one has upset a lot of people.. But I decided with my anxiety disorder and all the fears and gut feelings I had towards my possible labor that a c-section would be best fomy son. But then again, nobody ever agrees with my decisions. I've taken the time to educated myself on the risks of a c-section and for me the good parts are worth all the pain and struggles I'm going to go through. Regardless, I'm excited that I have a date set for when I'm going to meet my little man. :)

Ahh you can begin count down now hun!

Please don't let people make you feel bad about the decisions you make about YOUR body!
You do whatever you feel happiest with...
I can totally sympathise,I've had a previous section and want a repeat this time, but am scared I will be bullied into trying a vbac.I'm 32 weeks so its getting closer!

X

I don't know what to do either, whether to try for vbac or elect for section. I am kind of really liking the convenience of a section in that I can plan my end day from work, plan my sons child care, save my lady bits etc....but then again, there I part of me that would really like to try for natural just so I can experience what its like. Have you had a previous section, can I ask why are you choosing one now, is it due to anxiety etc?.xx

It's your choice, don't feel bullied.
I'm having an elective section on Thursday, and many of my friends and family don't think i should go ahead with it. Stuff them.
It's a great to know you have a set date for your babies arrival :)
