Crossing my fingers I will be able to hear the heart beat this week as at 9 weeks we could still only see it! So excited and nervous but really excited for my first trimester screening next Monday! I'm sure my doctor has a lot of questions about my vacation considering I had to touch base with him a few times about getting sick from deer meat and eggs then getting permission to get a flu shot and go on a prison tour (work related) and then ending the trip with a uti that I don't think has cleared up completely! Wish me luck!

So he couldn't pick up the heart beat with the Doppler and immediatly did a ultra sound and luckily we found him dancing away and a great heart beat. He tried to get a really clear picture but the baby was moving a lot and he did a transvaginal to get the clearest view but turns out the abdominal would have probably been better. Not a big deal though. The 3d Monday will be great. So happy to see things are going well.
