I'm 12+3 and when been to toilet there has been streaks of blood on the tissue, i had some pain yesterday now im really worried as i still cant find heartbeat on doppler either. I cant get hold of any medical people, my midwifes phone says to ring the comminity midwifes, tried them had leave a message they will get back within next working day! EPAU is only oen 9am to 12pm, cant go A&E as not heavy bleeding, i dont know what to do, i'm so scared and worried

How much blood? Just a little when you wipe?

I had small amounts of bleeding when I wiped at 4, 8, and 12 weeks. It would be there for maybe 3 bathroom trips, then turned to brown, and then was gone a few hours later. For me, it was likely hormonal - your body is used to bleeding at that time so sometimes you can have a little.

If you were intimate recently, that can also cause it. Our cervixes get really sensitive during pregnancy and we can bleed easily. I know I ALWAYS bleed during and after sex now.

I should add I am 12 + 5 today so we are close in timing. :)

Keep trying to call!

There is such a thing called breakthrough bleeding. It happens usually until around 16 weeks, where you have a small hormonal bleed around every 28 days. I had that with both my girls.
Have you had sex recently? Your cervix is very sensitive during pregnancy, you might have burst a few little capillaries.
This is around the time the placenta forms, maybe yours is a bit low and caused a few drops to go down your cervix.
Have you heard or seen a healthy heartbeat already? Chance of miscarriage is 5% or lower after finding a healthy heartbeat.

Keep making your calls, and if you feel like you need to go, go get checked out. Wishing the best for you! :)

I started bleeding at exactly 12 weeks and it turned out to be nothing. I had bleeding and cramping that lasted for several hours (we're talking bright red blood that gushed to start with). I went to the ER since it was the weekend and at night. They did land on blood and urine and did an ultrasound. They found no cause for the bleed at all. When I saw my ob on Monday she said it's possible it was implantation bleeding that just hadn't made it's way out until then and it common enough to see that even until 14 weeks. Hopefully that is the case for you and everything is just fine.

I think you should go to the ER. I know different countries do things differently, but here you go to the ER for any kind of bleeding. Sometimes they try to blow you off but if you're insistent they usually at least set up a scan for the next day.

Personally, I take spotting seriously as that is how my losses have started. Spotting is common, but it's not really 'normal'. I would get checked out.

Good luck and hope everything is OK.

The community midwife has just rung me back and told me to ring and leave a message on the EPAU answerphone and they will ring me back with advice, so now just waiting for another phonecall!

Grrrr ... Annoying! Hope you hear back soon x

They rang me back. Having scan 10.15 tomorrow morning. She said she wasn't to worried, more to put my mind at rest, so fingers crossed all is ok x

How many hours is that for you? I know we are on different time zones, I just want to stalk to see an update!! Praying for you!! Good luck!!

That about 20 hours to go. Hoping it a quick 20 hours! Thank you, I let you know it goes x

Keeping you and baby in my prayers. :hugs:

Good luck... I have had the same this morning at 11+4 but no pains... Already have 12 week scan for Tuesday so unsure of what i should do? I don't think is worth going to a&e (that is what we have been told to do before 16 weekday) so will probably just keep an eye until then... Hope all goes well for you!
x

Just to let you know, had scan our baby died at 7 weeks. He will be taken out on Monday.
Thank you all for your encouragement and support.
I hope you all have happy healthy pregnancies xx
