I noticed some of the symbols were edited out of my thread such as these.... is it b/c google search can not harvest the post in search? just curious... I have seen them on the board in "family status" and assumed they would be fine in thread title...

Sorry about that. I blame Wobbles for starting it. The problem isn't so much that search engines have a problem it it... it's a special font that looks good if you have it installed, but if you don't have it installed it looks all screwy.

Symbols like © ® ™ € ¢ é ñ look ok (because they are on everyones keyboard), but it's ► ▲ ♥ ♦ these type.

If you want to use them in posts that is fine (just remember that not everyone will view it how you do), but we are going to start removing them from title links.
