166bpm at 14+4

Haven't been able to hear littlen as I've got an anterior placenta
Heard it for the first time today!! Loud and clear so chuffed!
It was super fast though, 166bpm! Is that alright? Is that too fast? My sons was usually around 150-155 and was told that he had a faster heartbeat!

Perfectly normal. And old wives tales say faster hr means girl

That's totally fine. No worries if it varies above that still or drops below at different times of the day. One of my bugs like's to jump up to 175ish during appointments (I get nervous!) and doc's never been concerned about it

A few days ago mine was close to 150, and right now it was about 165. Think it depends on if they are swimming around or sleeping!

My little ones has ranged from 130 to 170 =)

Mine was. 171 at 12 weeks and 161 at 17 weeks... Will see what 22 weeks brings us in about a week
