16DPO,BFN! AF 3 days late!

heya girlies - im still just about in the running for June, im thinking if i dont start AF by the end of the weekend and still BFN i'll book a docs appointment and get a blood test as i understand that would show up at the earlies of stages not to mention my AF is late, urgh id rather know either way now i didnt sleep last night for stressing! this time last frids im sure i had an implantation bleed so surely if i was it would show by now?

dont worry unnessarily,last cycle mines was late by 5 days which was unuasual for it,

Oh me too me too. AF 1 day late but 2 BFN's this morning. Feeling absolutely rubbish - very queasy. I had small bleed on CD22 too but then it went away. God, its all so confusing. Keep me posted. I will test again on Mon if AF a no show. Are the blood tests at the docs better at picking up early results? I though a normal test should pick it up from day of missed AF?

i think a blood test would pick any changes way before any super senisitive test would. ill listen to nightnurse though and just expect AF in a day or so, if it gets to a week late and still BFN ill go docs because that is really abnormal for me. i am still clinging to the hope that maybe its still too early for a BFP as there's a poll saying the majority got a BFP on around 18DPO and there are some women who dont get a BFP for months! im going to test every morning from now on. i just hope im not late caz ive stressed myself out!

-Blood tests performed at the healthcare center are of two types. The qualitative hCG test is very much like a urine test, and it can simply give you a confirmation of pregnancy. For greater accuracy, it is important to go for a quantitative blood test which measures the exact amount of hormone in the blood. This test, due to its very nature, can pick up even very small traces of the hormone and is therefore very accurate. Blood tests are performed by taking a tube of blood from the vein, which is sent to the laboratory for examination. The analysis may take anywhere from a few hours to a day max.
