18 + 4, FIRST ultrasound Tuesday!9

I'm super excited but so nervousas this is my first pregnancy and I've been having major pain but the doctors brush it off and would NOT give me an earlier scan due to my insurance and there's no way I can pay for it as my hubby is the only one working. I can't wait for Tuesday just to see my baby and I pray everything is okay. I'm so scared they're gonna say something is really wrong but even if baby had Downs/any other defect I would still love him/her whole heartedly. I already love baby so much

The first scan is always so exciting but nerve wracking at the same time, I'm sure everything will be fine !
And you'll probably get to find out the gender (if your going to)
Do you live in the states? The insurance is rediculous there

I'm going to find out gender and yes, I have Medicaid its really ridiculous if you have it pretty much no one cares about you.

That's bullshit! It should be like here in canada.. I wonder how much a scan is if its not paid for?
And awesome, are you hoping for a specific gender?

It really is. I don't know, I keep thinking to ask but I forget at my appts lol. Yes, both me and hubby are hoping for a little boy, but I'm more hoping for my twins I've always wanted. )

Medicaid is state by state, as you know, and.not.every doctor treats you like shit, but sadly ALOT DO. If youve hd pain, id have been sitting in the energency room! Medicaid HAS to cover that regardless. O ya, and a scan out.of pocket is around $700. Anyway... theres my rant. Lol

Wow 700 dollars def don't have that much to spend :/ I've only ever had terrible doctors, but I live in a town that there's only one place that has nice doctors that care about you regardless of insurance and I'm trying to switch at the moment. I would have went to emergency room, but everybody is seriously downing me for even worrying and I'm so scared I'll go for no reason and the doctors at the hospital only care if your bleeding and I haven't been. Thank you! I'm soooooooo excited and I just can NOT wait.
