19 weeks and scared, please help :(

So for the past week or so I've been getting a really tight heavy feeling in my lower belly when I stand up & about 20 mins ago I started getting a very strong pressure feeling in my vagina/cervix and it is really freaking me out. I've had 2 previous miscarriages, one at 6 weeks & the other diagnosed at 8 weeks with a D&C at 10 weeks.

I'm already very paranoid as it is & now I'm paranoid about having an incompetent cervix or something & losing my baby...

Noone's advice on here can take the place of talking to your Dr or midwife ! Remember that !

But I will say that what you are describing sounds normal to me. It could be baby moving, changing position or something equally benign.

The best thing I can say is don't stress yourself out, it won't solve anything, and call your Dr ! He/she will give you the best advice and reassurance.

Thank you I went to urgent care & everything was fine, cervix closed & Riley's heartbeat was good. I did find out I have a mild case of bacterial vaginosis... yuck, but I got antibiotics for that and all should be fine

Good news that You're not alone pet, I'm beyond terrified of having an incompetent cervix so any strange sensations in that region have my heart racing... really glad to hear everythings fine, have my 20wk scan on thursday when they're being asked to check cervical length via abdominal ultrasound (not as good as transvaginal, but I've got complications that mean they want to keep internal exams to the barest minimum possible), hopefully that'll stop me freaking out!
