1st round of clomid...would love to hear success stories :)

I just started my first round of clomid last night and surprizingly didn't have much side effects besides waking a few times hot and a bit nauseous today. My Dh and I have been ttc for almost 2 yrs and ntnp for 7! Dh SA report was fairly normal, a bit low but still average. I have had every test ran and all they seem to know is that my ovulation is patchy, so they gave me clomid to try for 3 months, then on to FS. Anyone else dealing with unexplained infertility? and does anyone have success stories of using clomid? Thanks so much ladies!

Yes it finally came and took the first tablet, had a hot flush already! LOL

I took my 1st round of Clomid this cycle and today, CD19 I got my 1st ever smiley face!

I took clomid for the first time earlier this month! Half way through my cycle now-- no side-effects at all and definitely ovulated! I had a scan done to track the follicles and then because ovulation was so painful, I went to the hospital and they did a scan to make sure everything was okay because I had a lap the end of July. THey saw the corpus luteum, so ovulation is definite! I'm holding my breath for another week before I can start testing! A bit worried because of all the poking and prodding, and because I was ill for most of August. Cross your fingers for me please! Will keep you posted if I have success!

Fingers crossed stellargaze!!!!! Hope your pregnant!!! The excitement is actually killing me!!!! 2 more tablets to take and a follicular scan.... Then its BD BD BD!! I'm also going to try instead softcups this month to keep all the sperm in!!! Everyone counts!! Anybody else? Xxxx

Hi, just thought I'd share my clomid story with you all.

We were TTC for 3 years, during the last 6 months of which I was diagnosed with Endo and it was lasered off. I was then given clomid to maximise my chances before the endo started to grow back. (they said the 6 months following surgery were my window). Anyway that was all back in the spring of 2010. I took my first round of clomid starting April 3rd 2010. It worked first time, and as you can see from the avatar, my little man (William) is the result. Born Jan 1st this year.

So Clomid does work for some of us and it can work first time.
