1st round of Femara-any success stories??

I'm 21 (pcos, unexplained infertility, possible annovulation)
Husband is 28, no fertility issues
TTC #1 for 2 years ...
Been on clomid (5 cycles-no luck)
Now I am on Metformin (1500 before bed) and Femara 2.5mg 3xs a day.
I am on CD10 & take my last dose of Femara tomorrow, and have an appt with my FS on Wednesday
*FX for some good news, hopefully when they do the u/s all will be well.......

Anyone have any success stories? Anyone starting on Femara, or been on it for a few rounds?

I got my BFP first round femara 5mg with my loss. I'll be using it again this next time as well.

I'm a little confused though as to why you're taking it three times a day? I was told it should all be taken at once and around the same time every day.

I am taking 3 pills right before bed, just once a day. Sorry for the confusion....
Went to the dr on cd13 and only 2 eggs measured 10&12 so not big enough yet, going back in tomorrow (Monday).... Going to do the hcg shot, I've never taken it before so I hope it works!
So are you on 1 pill a day?

What luck to have gotten a BFP right before goin in to do IVF, that's the route were headed if this doesn't work out!!

Ah okay yeah that makes more sense. So you're on 7.5mg/day. Last time I ovulated on 5mg/day (so 2 2.5pills) so I'm gonna do that Cd 3-7 again this cycle. Femara isn't like clomid where it tends to mature more than one follicle hence it has a higher rate of twins. Femara tends to just give you one really good, strong one. I don't trigger so can't comment on that. FX!

Thank you! Due 12th sept so over half way there. Hopefully u will get ur bfp before it comes to IVF. All the best
