2.5 year old night wakings

When do kids start to wake up from dreams? The last couple nights my son has woken up a few times at night sometimes crying sometimes just awake. Both nights I've just taken him back to bed laid him down, and laid beside him for a sec and he passes right out.

Would it be dreams waking him up?

Most likely its dreams IF he has no tummy pain or anything else

yea nothing else. Just something new to get use to Hopefully it doesn't continue to when I have the new baby

it happens to me and i have a little baby thankgod i get to him beforehe wakes summer up lol bt it is really anoying
