2 rounds of clomid in same cycle

I had never heard of taking 2 rounds of clomid in the same cycle until last week when my Doc prescribed it to me. I thought for sure at CD18 with no mature follies I was out. Took 2nd round CD18-22 and just went today (CD 25) to check and I have 2 ready in my Left ovary. Never been so excited to do a trigger shot tomorrow LOL!! It's just so weird to be CD 25 and still waiting on O.

So my question, have any of you heard of this method of using clomid and heard of success with pregnancy? Obviously it worked to get me mature follies but I guess its just hard to pull yourself back from the "i'm out this month" feeling.

Yes I'm on a thread here called young pcosers 27 BFPs down and a member on that thread called mrs b conceived her 1st that way.
