Hello everyone! I went for a level 2 ultra sound today and found out I'm having a baby BOY!!! I'm excited to finally know what I'm having! During the Ultra Sound the Dr. told me that everything looked completely normal except that my umbilical cord only has two vessels instead of three! She went on to say how rare this is and I started freaking out!!! She explained what potential problems could arise because of this and I began to really get worried... I have found a little info online and most of it has been positive so I'm feeling some relief... has anyone here experienced this with pervious pregnancies and if you have what happen? Did you have any abnormalities in the heart or chromosomal issues? The Dr. did say that I may have to have several U/S to monitor the babies growth just be safe... If you have any info please let me know!! Thank you!
