2 week old in discomfort

Hi

My 2 week old for the past few days seems really agitated in himself. I thought it was trapped wind but he seems to be passing wind ok now. He has had one messy poo yesterday morning so he is not overly backed up.
He just seems so agitated and grizzly and getting into a right pickle and really squirmy.
Just wondering do they have a growth spurt around this time or does this just sound like normal wind/ constipation ?
Also I was thinking about getting some gripe water. I’m in the UK anyone else used this or can I even use it? X

Infacol can be used from birth but I think gripe water can't be used until a bit later. Maybe 6 weeks? If I remember right I think the first growth spurt is around 10 days to 2 weeks so he may settle down
