2 weeks after section, lifting my toddler?

I had my second section 16 days ago and I'm pretty much back to normal again. I don't feel any pain and my wound is healing well. How long do you think I should wait until I lift my older daughter? She is 2 years old and weighs around 2 and a half stone. What would happen if I lifted her too soon? Would my scar rupture or would I just hurt myself?

Hi Hun I had a c-section 7 months ago. My toddler was 18months at the time he weighed about 24lb. OH went back to work after 2 weeks so was back lugging him in & out of his cot. I only lifted where nessesary but I didn't have any problems. Just be careful as things are still healing!

im lifting my 2 yr old 3 weeks later...try not to as the healing takes 2 years!!!!!! but its hard not to carry on as normal when you feel no pain!!
