21 Weeks and wet knickers

Past couple of weeks i have been finding that all of a sudden my knickers will be wet, it's completely clear, doesn't smell of anything it's just water. Not a vast amount just a wet patch at the front of my knickers. I've read that an increase is discharge is normal at this stage of pregnancy but its so horrible constantly feeling like i have wet myself

I had this around 23 weeks. I rang my midwife and she told me to come in and get checked incase my waters were leaking.

They did a speculum and a test and it wasn't my waters, just an excess of watery discharge which she said is very common and also found out from my urine sample I had a UTI which was probably contributing.

However always better to be safe if in doubt.

I agree maybe go get checked out, or ask your doc if you have an appt coming up soon? I wouldnt wait too long just INCASE your waters are leaking. More discharge is normal, yes, but if its very clear and watery I would get checked out.

Hopefully your pregnancy unit wasn't like mine. I had a large gush of clear, non-smelly liquid at 25ish weeks pregnant and was, basically, told there's nothing they'll do until I'm 28 weeks. I was literally soaked. Through my underwear and through my trousers - had to completely change.

Mine never happened again, thankfully and I've had a scan since (private) that showed great fluid around baby.

If you're worried though, call for sure!
