Hi all just went for 24 week appt and mentioned that a lot of people keep telling me that my belly is still small for 24 weeks so mw said although they don't normally measure she'll have a feel. My fundal measurement is showing 27 weeks so she got a doc who also agreed was measuring big and so have to have a glucose test on thursday (hmm looking forward to not eating till 11am....NOT!!!) and also a growth scan in a fortnight. Glad i mentioned about my belly now though so they can do the tests to rule everything out as it could just be a big baby.
Anyone else had this at 24 weeks or something similar?
Cheers in advance! x

Hiya,
Im also measuring big for dates the fundal height is 25cm!!!! and im only 20 weeks, however in my last pregnancy i was measuring 4 weeks too small turned out everything was fine but im being sent for growth scans from 28 weeks onwards to check. They do like to worry you lol probably just a big baby hope all goes well x

Bump size isnt always a good indication of baby size. My SIL is 29 weeks and has a tiny bump, but at her monthly growth scans (she is type 1 diabetic) baby always measures large xx

Thank you!! Even though they tell you that it can be normal and tests are just to rule things out anything out of the ordinary is always a worry. I will put my hands up to being a little worried about everything as this is my little miracle baby and i'm also a high risk pregnancy due to the chemo/stem cell transplant 11 years ago. But its nice to come on here and hear about other peoples experience to put your mind at ease so thanks for sharing x

Grrr just read my notes that were written today and it says " over 90th centile - feel like poly" which means polyhydramnios.
Reading the wicked google says that it happens in 1% of women and means too much amniotic fluid (could be caused by diabetes or theres just too much fluid)...noooooo this is now going to be playing on my mind and i know i shouldn't get worked up but its easier said then done. :(

I had the same situation and failed my 1 hour GTT, but passed the 3 hour. Don't be too worried fundal height depends on many factors, best of luck :)!!

Thank you! I so need to stop googling!!!
