im not sure tbh, Ava drinks 4oz pretty dam fast and i wind her about 2/3 times a bottle. She wouldnt ever take as long as half an hour tho... more like 10 mins!

If he's starting to refuse the feed half way through, starts falling asleep during the majority of the bottles or the teat starts collapsing then I'd look at moving up a teat size.

How long it takes Violet to finish a bottle depends and varies on how tired she is / how hungry she is / how distracted she is!

I just started using size 2 teats - you may find at first he drowns a bit in milk, cos he will be sucking on them like he did the size 1 and it will come out faster than he;s used to. It took mirren 2 bottles to realise she didn't have to suck as hard. She still takes half an hour to drink 4oz though - but she stops and has a 10 min break half way.

Heating a bottle, feeding and then changing V always used to take about an hour in the early months, but it wasn't an hour spent actually taking the bottle.

Yeah, it can take them a little while to get used to the new teats - I'd personally say give it a day, you'll soon know if they're too fast but it does sound like thats what your LO needs x
