Both my boys were born by csection, first was an emergency sonthe actual situation was terrifying but the surgery in itself was fab and was out shopping etc within a few days. The surgeon used staples to seal the wound and they were great. Second was an elective section as he was over 10lb and was a good experience, they surgery was relaxed and had delayed cord clamping and skin to skin etc as soon as he was out as he came out screaming. Recovery has been harder this time but was still able to at least walk around and potter about house with minimal pain within a week or so. Slight issue with wound not healing as well but mostly due to the dressingbthey put on it.
Overall both csections were a positive. Good luck for yours, I hope everything goes well.
Edited to say just noticed you are only 34 weeks so guessing you will have the steroid injections? If so don’t read any scare stories about them being painful, they stung but were more than manageable.
