2nd degree tear...

So 3 weeks ago I had LO and had a 2nd degree tear, I only know this because I read my notes, I wasn't told anything else about care or healing etc.

Midwife said just to keep it clean etc, well duh

But how bad is a second degree tear and how long do the stitches take to heal?
Should it be healed by now?

I had mine abt 3 weeks ago and I was told I had a second degree tear too. I think my ob said the stitches will heal in 3-4 weeks? I rinse it in the shower after every time I go toilet (pain in the butt literally esp when I'm home alone with LO)
I think mine has healed cos I don't feel tenderness/discomfort anymore
