3-4 month old feeding questionnaire

Would just like to compare feeding patterns as I don't know if my LO is getting enough/too much.

How many oz does your LO take and how often?
Which formula are you using?
Which bottles and size teats do you use?
How long do they sleep at night?

Johnny takes 5-6 oz every 3-4 hours, we use Hipp organic with MAM anti colic bottles with the stage 1 teats and he's recently stopped STTN.

Which formula are you using? Aptamil Comfort

Which bottles and size teats do you use? Tommee Tippee with Variflow teats

How long do they sleep at night? Usually 9-6 but last night she did half 8 until 7 Im praying it stays this way.... lol

Was really worried about how much Amelia was drinking as she's having 4 or 5 8 oz bottles a day but the health visitor said its fine and not to give her hungry baby milk so we're going to stick with what were doing. She currently weighs 14lb 14oz so maybe her being a bigger baby has something to do with her needing more milk x

Is great, she sleeps from 7.30pm till 6.30, I haven't forced her to g sleep she just does it by herself, but I think it's coz she only cat naps during the day, 10 min here or there.
When was your little due, Georgia Skye was die 20th but came a week late. I think I remember you, was you due around the 15th x

Hi Lollibopop I remember u from 3rd tri!! My LO is 15 weeks tomorrow and had 6 oz every 3-4 hours. He is on Aptamil and we use Dr Brown bottles size 2 teats. He sleeps 10 hours a night with no dream feed or wake up during the night feed. He started waking like urs a week ago for a fee days then it passed and he slept throuhh again.

He does 6 oz every 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Although for his last feed tonight he took 9 oz!

Tommee Tippee, up until yesterday it was size one. Today moved to size 2.

How long do they sleep at night?
Alseep by 7, sometimes a bit earlier. Ususally wakes at 5.45am but occassionally 4.30am. Tried keeping him up later but he just got overtired and still woke up at 5am!

lo drinks 6-8 oz four times a day, drinkin sma gold but will be movin on to the follow on milk in a week or two, on level 2 at the moment but again we will be movin on as soon as i get a chance to buy the next level (we use dr brown's) and she sleeps from 7.30pm until 7pm most nights, but she will wake 3 or 4 times durin the night for her dummy to be put back in

Eva takes 7oz every 3-4 hours during the day. She usually has 5-6 bottles in 24 hours.

We use SMA formula with Tommee Tippee bottles and size 2 teats.

She sleeps for about 9-11 hours straight (although does stir once or twice for her dummy then is straight back asleep) then usually has her morning bottle and goes back down for another 1-3 hours x

Thanks for helping ladies! I think we're going to go to the second stage teats and see if he'll take 6-7oz. He's doing so much but not sleeping, he's still awake now and rolling around with no signs of sleeping

Wow, your babies are sleeping so much! And eating so much!

Lilly just turned three months on Saturday, she's eating 3 oz every two hours.. and four oz at night. She eats every 2 hours during the day.

We use similac advanced.

We use Avent bottles and size 1 or 2 nipples.

She goes to sleep at 7pm, sleeps until 11pm, wakes at 2, 4, and 6 after that. Goes back to sleep at about 8 and naps for three hours.

Now I'm worried she's not eating enough compared to your lo's! But she's gaining weight fine, and absolutely refuses to eat any more than that.

Which bottles and size teats do you use? Tommee tippee ctn anti colic. Just switched to size two as he was leaving a bit at the end of his bottle as was getting fed up. Now he mostly finishes.

We combi-feed and Charlotte has about 50% expressed breastmilk and 50% formula (Similac for Fussiness & Gas)

How long do they sleep at night?

It really varies these days. She used to go down at 7pm and do a 7-9 hour stretch, up for a feed, and then down until around 6am. More recently (past week or so), she's up at least twice in the evening, waking every 3/4 hours. We've also had some tough nights when she's up more often. I know it could be worse, so I'm really trying not to complain!

I'm shocked at how many babies on this thread STTN! Perhaps the 4 month sleep regression doesn't affect as many babies as I thought?! That actually gives me some hope. Although Charlotte's sleep has recently regressed a bit, I'm terrified she is going to start waking hourly any day now (she was 10 days late, so almost 17 weeks gestationally... supposedly the peak of fussiness for the 19th wonder week, which often causes sleep regression).

My LO is currently drinking 6 x 7 oz bottles as he has started waking at 3 am again for a night feed.

He drinks from 0-6 month NUK bottles and teats and HIPP infant milk or if were are out and about SMA ready made with their size one teats.

He also started with one pureed meal a day this week. (Started solids just after he started waking in the night, hopefully will make him less hungry, not sure though)

He was sleeping through the night but now waking at 3 or 4 am for a bottle. I forgot how nice a full nights sleep was until he started waking again.

My Lo takes anything between 5-7oz every 3hrs during the day, he has 4 bottles a day.
We use aptamil first milk.
tommee tippee closer to nature bottles & variflow teats.
he sleeps 10-12hrs every night.

Julian eats 3 ounces every 2-3 hours usually.

I try to get him to bed between 8:30-9:30pm and he'll either sleep until morning (7-8am) or wake up once around 4am for another 3oz feed and then be up for the day around 9-10am.

We use all sorts of bottles/nipples. Avent, Nuk, slow flow, medium, orthodontic... He takes them all with no fuss. Fast-flow is a bit too difficult though.

Millie has 7 oz every 4 hours, 4 bottles a day and sleeps 8pm-7am. She has about 4 30 min naps during the day and we use aptamil first milk and avent bottles size 2 teats xx
