3-4cm dilated had stretch and sweep...any success stories??

As the title says I'm currently 3-4 cm dilated and had a stretch and sweep the midwife said my cervix is soft and stretchy and she could feel bubs head and waters...

Just wondering if there's any success stories out there I'm really hoping it will work

keep us up dated - what gestation are you? will you get another if it doesn't work? How long between? i heard walking immediatly after and then sex with husband is meant to help a sweep work.

I had one yesterday. I had a bit of bloody mucous, a few contractions and now nothing. Dr. said if it's gonna work it would work in 48 hours.

Was exactly the same when I was 40+6 with my Noah! Had stretch and sweep done, was 3-4 cm and very stretchy. Had a bloody show 3 hours later and then went to bed. Exactly 12 hours after sweep my waters broke and he was born 2 hours and 56 minutes later . Good Luck xxx

I'm 40+4 thanks for the stories it's been 9 hours since the sweep I'm getting mild irregular contractions and still losing bloody bits in my mucus plug..that has to be a good sign right lol

last time i was the same as you 3/4cm dilated and really soft and stretchy. midwife said she could've broken my waters easily and didnt understand how iw asnt in labour. did a stretch and sweep at 11am on the sunday and was in labour by 5am on the monday

No experience but good luck...deff sounds like stuff happening.

I dont get my sweep till next tue =(
