His poo has always been very runny and the pediatrician told me this was normal due to breast milk being so easy to digest.

But they are really runny all the time, sort of slimy and he seems to have a lot of tummy ache.
I cut out dairy for a while but didn't notice a difference and now am eating pretty much what I have always eaten, mostly healthy...

Now, his poo wasn't always slimey - even before I cut out dairy.

Any ideas. I think the best way for me to figure out what is normal is just to know what other bf babies poo is like:dohh:

My sons poo's were always runny too and slimey with the exception of those seed looking things I found that if I ate more berry stuff it made his poo harder but not by much

While being exclusively breastfed my boys poo was always really runny, seedy and yellowish...until they started solids

Hebe's were mainly runny and mustard coloured but not always. It would only take me to eat certain things and they would change colour, consistency and regularity!

So long as they are coming regular I wouldnt get too hung up on what they are like. :D

Sounds perfectly normal to me! Breastfed babies poohs are lovely, hehe! Sweet smelling, brightly coloured, nice and runny...until you start weaning! I am slightly obsessed with my LO's nappies though! x
