3/5 palfable?

hiya everyone
My baby isnt due till next week but midwife came round yesterday and put in my notes 3/5 palfable. im not to sure what this means if anybody can explain it.
Also today ive experience alot of baby movements really low, and had a lot of pains on my left side, is this common to?

I think 3/5ths palpable means 2 5ths of the babies head is down in your pelvis.

Maybe the movements you felt were the baby getting further down there ready for coming out!

it means 3/5ths of ur babies head is engaged so only another 2/5ths 2 go and ul be fully engaged! which is a good thing as im still only 1/5th engaged!

i have really low down movements as well hun itl jus b ur wee babies hands fumbling around! all normal!

it means she can feel 3/5ths of babys head as 3/5ths is free- the other 2/5th is engaged!

means bubby is not quiet fully engaged yet but it on the way........

I have no clue at times with my midwife...she once said I was 1/5th palpable but she actually meant 1/5th engaged!

But the hospital one the other day said she thought he was 3/5ths engaged so I asked if she meant she could feel 3/5ths or 2/5ths lol it certainly confuses them.....am sure they make it up sometimes!

But either way baby is heading down to the right area!!!

Unfortunately they can free themselves up until a certain point...I just cant remember how far down they have to be before they cant
