Hi All

I'm not sure if here is the best place to post this but I have a complex history ttc and i think you guys will be the best eqquiped to help me....

I have a long history of ttc 4 yrs for my first beautiful baby boy. I do not ovulate on my own - well rarely so i was put on clomid again as being trying for baby no2 now for 8 months and the 6th round of clomid worked last time! However I was getting spotting from about 7dpo lasting till 13dpo then only 1 day period and spotting again for 5 days so i had a scan yesterday and it shows i have a 3.5cm cycst on my right ovary. I have been told i can't stimulate ovaries for 3 months as it needs to go down first.....as i don't really o on my own i'm really upset as feel like its 3 months wasted and what happens if i take it again and the same thing happens...

So my questions: Is there anything i can do to get it gone quicker?
Has anyone else had this? They think its from the clomid......

are there any alternatives to clomid...

What are my chances of getting pg with a cyct like this? (assuming i ov ;) )

Also is there anything i can do to try and encourage ovulation......

any advice/help much much appreciated!!!

Thank you so much in advance!

Nimbec, I would just say that even I feel Clomid can cause cyst. When I started ttc my periods were very regular. I was prescribed Clomid because of low progesterone. After 3 cycles of Clomid my cycle became irregular. Ultrasound showed cyst. What I feel is that I did had cyst before but Clomid exaggerated it.

Yes clomic can cause cyst! I would ask Dr because it can keep growing! They can aspirate the cyst!

You certainly can get pregnant with a cyst. I had one and it went away after just just month off clomid. I would also suggest only using it three months at a time because it can thin your lining

Thanks Ladies :) I hope it goes quickly!! Thanks for your advice!
