3 cm dilated, 70% effaced, 36 weeks

At my last week appt, 36 wks, I was 3cm dilated and 70% effaced . .. I have been losing pieces of my mucus plug everyday since and the baby has definitely dropped. I have an appt in 2 days again, I am just anxious to see what everyone else is experiencing and any guesses to when my labor will hit! By the way, this is baby number 3!

well aren't you lucky!!! As of last thursday baby was just head down but not down far enough (I wasn't checked internally) Today I feel sooo much pressure when I stand up, so i'm hoping that's a good sign because I COULD BARELY WALK lol. So hopefully this thursday they can tell me something good.

On Friday I was 4cm dilated 75% effaced and lost my plug days ago...I really thought things might be happening but suddenly I'm not feeling anything! LOL I have an appointment Wednesday so we'll see!! This is my first by the way!

Me too! Last week at my 36 week I was exactly the same - only this is #2 for me. They said 3 cm and 70%. I'm SO ready! Doesn't that mean we should come early? What's your doc saying?

After your first your generally 2 or 3cm the last few weeks anyway.

Really those numbers have no reflection on when you are going to go into labour. You could go tomorrow or in 5 weeks.
