I've always done 3 hour feeds at 7:30 (7oz),10:30 (6 oz),1:30 (6 oz),4:30 (6oz) and 6:45 (7oz). However on either the 10:30 or 1:30 she only takes half a bottle. I thought about upping them to 8 and dropping one but she never seems to fit more than 7oz in.

A lot of people I speak to do 4 hour feeds, should I be stretching her to 4 hourly? I worry that she wouldn't get enough in if I did as she would only be on 4 bottles. She's never taken to dream feeding and tbh I don't really want to try that now she is sleeping through.

Hiya
Chloe is on 4 hourly feeds, she dropped the 6.00am bottle herself as she started to sleep through it.
She usually has 7oz per bottle although very rarely finishes it - she has 4 bottles a day, HV said this is fine as I have started to wean her, she has bottles at 8.45am, 12.45pm, 4.45pm, 7.45pm [I know the last one is only 3 hours apart as she goes to bed at 8.00pm]

Hope this helps x

I'm just starting to wean to, what times do you give her solids?

I would say definitely 4 hourly feeds at 5 months. I used to feed at the times you said, now I feed Ruby 7.30, 11.30, 3.30, 7 and dream feed at 10.30pm.
Ruby used to take between 5 and 7oz every 3 hours, whereas now she almost always takes 9oz. (except for at the dreamfeed, she usually takes about 7oz).
