31 week scan - differences in measurements

Doctor ordered another scan for around 35 weeks to check growth, she mentioned that the reason for this is the difference between the head measurement and the leg measurement.
Ive never really heard that it could be an issue, does anyone else have this problem?
Or do you know why it is a problem? Or what it can mean?

Measurements taken at exactly 31w0d

Head circumference: 277mm - 30w2d
Biparietal diameter: 76mm - 30w4d
Abdominal circumference: 265mm - 30w5d
Femur length: 62mm - 32w1d
Weight estimate: 1694g - 31w0d

Seems odd, there isn't that much difference! Maybe she's just being careful?

My 34 week scan head measured 97th percentile, body 81st percentile, and femur only 17th percentile but my midwife said they are easily out by a lot and wasn't concerned at all.

I'd say your midwife is just being overly cautious!

Hm, I'll have to say to that maybe she's being cautious.

I had mine at 32+6 today and everything is 32+5 to 33+1 except his abdominal circumference which is only 31+1 and she didn't even mention it or seem concern about it! And its a good one to two weeks behind most other things!

Maybe she just wants to make sure, a lot of people like the better safe than sorry approach, and hey, always better to check than not, but I'm sure your little peanut is doing great
