31 weeks sharp pelvic and back pain...early labor? or has baby dropped

Woke up about 20 minutes ago with a very sharp pelvic cramp like pain. It took my breath away. I am still experiencing a dull aching sensation down there. Ironically, I have a scan today so baby will be checked. Is this braxton hicks, or has baby engaged?

Could be neither. . Could be normal stretching ... That's what it was for me
