Yes. I lose it earlier with each baby. I start losing bits at around 12 weeks now that I've had a few kids! As long as it's not bloody and isn't accompanied by pressure or contractions, it should be fine. But always check with your dr because I'm definitely not one!
I've been losing mine for several weeks already. As above, if no blood then it's not a major concern. Bear in mind that your plug can "grow" back as well...so it's not totally gone once you've lost it!
I have never heard of anyone getting another lug. As far as I know once it's gone it's gone. I lost mine with my third at 34 weeks. Once I lost the plug he was born just over 12 hrs later.
I wouldn't be too worried, you can lose your plug but it replaces itself. If it's more of a "bloody show" that's more indicative of labor soon, but don't fret about just the plug.
i dont consider myself as lost my mucus plug UNLESS its a huge chunk with little blood.. I disregard anything else OFCOURSE IF THERES PAIN, its dr time!
With my son I lost a good portion of my plug somewhere in my mid 20s, but it grew back and I lost it for real at 39+2 and went into labor the following day.
