Hello ladies.....
I am new on here and need some friends. Wondering if there are other women in my situation. I am 35 and TTC our first child. My husband and I have been trying for 7 months. The last month we used CLEARPLAN OPT and PRESEED. Didn't seem to do the trick. Took an EPT yesterday with a negative result. My period isn't due for 4 days, but don't have any symptoms for pregnancy. So we start over. Just made an appt to begin fertility testing. I have been pregnant before but ended in miscarriage, but was many years ago. I have since gained 50 pounds and have actively trying to lose weight. I take more supplements than I knew existed: prenatal, dha, folic acid, zinc, magnesium, evening primrose, macs root, cod liver oil, dandelion root tea. Does anyone have any other suggestions??

Wow that is a lot of vitamins! I am 34, but have been trying forever and have gained over 40 lbs since starting this so I get it.
Honestly I say stop the vitamin dump, the prenatal, dha and folic should be sufficient. If you are concerned about egg quality I would research CoQ10. For both men and women, women will need more than men but it works for both. I only say these things after almost four years of doing all you are doing. There is nothing wrong with making your significant other take vitamins as well, in fact we found after research that the vitamins will have a bigger impact on him then they will on you.

If you can get into a fertility specialist they will get all your tests, bloods and confirm what is going on. If it is an ovulation issues then you can start adding vitamins to help with that, but they will have prescriptions that will work 100% better than any vitamin could. I know it seems like forever but once you get the testing going it goes by pretty fast, hopefully they will let you know what is going on and set you on the path to motherhood.

Good luck

Thanks for the info. I am not sure if its ovulation troubles or sperm problems. My husband takes a lot of vitamins as well. Guess I should of added, he has a daughter from a previous relationship. She's 14. So he had good sperm at some point. Also I have a very regular cycle.. 26 days to the hour. I am not sure if I'm still fertile or starting the change. My mom started menopause around 39 so I'm concerned that I could be running out of eggs, sooner than later.
