36 week, 90% effacement and 3cm dilation

Does it mean that I will go to labor soon? My OB said it didn't mean so, I'm confused. So over it, hope the baby come out soon.

I can tell you that I have been at 3 cm and 70%, –2 for at least a week and nothing. They are inducing on Monday. I'm not sure what the –2 means and not sure how long I have been like that. That was the first time they checked me. You never know though. It's so hard to tell.

It most likely means the baby will come soon, BUT there are plenty of folks who walk around 90-100% effaced and 2-4 cms dilated, for weeks. We all know that getting to 37 weeks before having that baby is ideal, but if you wanna help to speed things along, get to walkin'! Just make sure you get lots of rest, too. You'll need it if you're anything like me - I missed out on weeks of sleep because I just wanted to watch my baby all night. lol
