37 weeks breech position...what to do? :(

I found out today my baby is breech. I was given the option for a version tomorrow or schedule a c s at 39 wks. I elected to try the ecvin the am with little knowledge about it and now I am having second thoughts. My doc ad midwife takes to me about it for a minute then gave me a brochure and left me and my husband to make a decision. Now I'm home reading good and bad about ecv and c s. I want to hear from people who have had to make this difficult decision. This will be my 1st delivery.

I heard a version attempt can be quite dangerous for baby and painful for the mother. I would opt for ultimate safety of baby so a csection at 39 weeks. Btw, I had one and u don't see why people hate it so much? It was honestly a walk in the park for me and I'm happy to be doing it again.

Hi - My baby was breech at 37 weeks and i decided not to have the ECV- personal choice as i thought my baby must be 'happy' the way she is and why bother to disturb her!! (daft i know). Went on to have an section which was the easiest thing ever!!!! Good luck x

My first was breech, i delivered him naturally. Wasnt through choice, he was undiagnosed breech.

Im expecting the same again this time....breech... Im hoping not though....i want a home birth!! If he is though, id go for the cs.........
