38 and it's go for number three

Officially starting Cycle 3 CD 1 after a 32 day cycle for Cycle 2following a chemical during Cycle 1. I have a 19 year old and a 12 year old but met my soul mate five and a half years ago and have been waiting for him to feel ready to have a baby. I've been ready for five. LOL He doesn't have any biological children but he is the best dad ever to my kids. Its been tougher than I thought it would be to conceive. Sure I know it's been nearly 13 years but in my mind remembering how easily I fell pregnant with my first two I thought it would take just once actively trying. Well, its not so simple as many of you have probably already discovered. I want to try and start a TTC journal so if anyone can steer me in the right direction...if I don't figure it out on my own ;-) I'm also using fertility friend and so far it's a good site even if this is my first month having used it. Anyway looking forward to spending a little time here with you ladies as I think I will get better advice and information from woman in my situation than in the general TTC or TWW threads. to all!

Have you ever used ovulation strips? I used them to help pinpoint ovulation for my last two pregnancies and I believe they are a huge help in trying to conceive. You can find them really, really cheap online.

I didn't do any charting besides typing my last menstrual period in and after a month of finding out my cycles were 30-33 days it was easier to predict when ovulation would occur. Otherwise I didn't start charting although I admire those that can. I am obsessive when it comes to something I want. My husband would have called the whole trying to make a baby off if I bugged him with charting.

I actually started using OPKs on cycle 2. Thank you for your support. I can get a little obsessive sometimes you. Luckily Kevin is as bad as I am with obsessing over stuff though he will deny it. But I look at it as being determined instead of obsessing.
