38 and TTC for the first time with known sperm donor

Hi, everybody! Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm 38, single and just finished my first round of DIY AI with a sperm donor. I've been tracking my ovulation for several months and I have extremely regular 27-day cycles, always ovulating on Day 13.

I'm also a foster parent to a beautiful 7-yr old girl.

Currently in the TWW... It's so hard not to get crazy OCD right now! Just have to leave it all in the hands of the universe. If it's meant to be, it'll happen.

Good luck Grapequeen. The tww is horrible although having a 7 year old around may be a welcome distraction. There are a couple of other treads running - one on assisted conception (any solo mums out there) and one on single parent (single mum by choice), of women going down the single parent route, some like myself already there, drop in and join in (if you're not already there).
