hi ladies on the 7th will be my third gyne appointment i dont know what to expect last time i went i was loosing weight and had just had my second af of last year, and now i aint had one for like 6 months and ive gained weight :( scared shes guna call me fat again and send me home with nothing but naturally waiting and i dont think i cld deal with that. i just want a baby so much, im newly engaged and i think it would make my year if she would just prescribe me something to help me ovulate ya no?? get the ball rolling a bit for me. anyways if anyone gone through this i would like to hear what u think i have got pcos :(

I have a gyno app. on 7th too, but thinking of rescheduling. She wanted me to loose 10kg, I lost 6. I also don't wanna hear that I'm still too fat for making babies. It's really an awful feeling, because for the first time in my life I decided not to diet, but just listen to my body and sort out my relationship with food, that's been screwed up by years and years of dieting. It's really liberating and I am loosing weight, but obviously a lot slower than if I was on some low-calorie diet. And the damn app. is the only thing that's making me feel bad right now.

I too have PCOS and I'm on Metformin, that seems to be working. Have you tried it? If not, you might wanna make it the center of focus of your next app. It WILL help you loose weight too, because it puts sugar/sweets craving under control.

Hi hun yeah I know what you mean but I have tried every diet even wieght watchers an I just can't shift it it's doing my head in :( I'm not taking anything an they aren't suggesting anything either every time I have been they just tell me to do it naturally but it's obviously not working naturally :s I would love it natirally ya no? Not doing it on purpose lol I've just come back from America a
N most of that country is over wieght but yet there still popping out babies they aren't being told they have pcos an need to loose wieght drives me nuts ! don't cancel ur app hun I know it's hard but if u have to wait longer u will find that harder x

Do research Metformin! If it works for you, it might be the only thing you need to start ovulating regularly again. Print out some articles and bring with you. My previous gyno didn't mention it to me either. Not every doctor knows that it's used to treat PCOS, usually it's only the specialists in the area that do. It's even more suited in your case, if you find it hard to loose weight on your own.

I don't wanna cancel the appointment, I wanna move it a few months ahead. By then I should be way under BMI 30, so they wouldn't be able refuse any treatments based on how much I weigh. And wouldn't be able to make me feel bad about it either. And for the moment Metformin is making me ovulate regularly, so I don't feel like I wanna be getting any more help. Not yet anyway.
