My middle name is Grace, so I'd like our little girl to have the same middle name as me. I haven't brought up names with DH yet - I want to get your thoughts first! So here we go...
Mila Grace
Annabelle or Annabella Grace
Chloe Grace
Sophia Grace

Annabelle :) I love Anna as a nickname. Annabella is a bit frilly for my taste.

Chloe is super super popular where I live, my LO literally has 5 toddler friends name Chloe. Not sure about where you live though obviously.

Mila is nice but I prefer names with nn options.

I prefer Sophie over Sophia but both are also very common at the moment. Sophia Grace sounds lovely, though.

Thanks so much for your thoughts, staralfur :) I love Anna or Annie short for Annabelle too. It's always been my fav but my parents had a cat called Annabelle so that turns me (and DH) off. Do you think that's a big enough reason to not choose a name?

I like them all but my fav's are:

Anabelle Grace
Mila Grace

I like Mila! Mila was on my shortlist for names, and Grace is the name we have chosen! Mila Grace sound lovely.

I adore Mila! It's a name I put forward when we were discussing baby names but turns out DH and I said the name two different ways and neither wanted to compromise, so we didn't end up using it. I'm presuming you'd say it as Mee-La, like Mila Kunis?

Chloe and Sophia are beautiful but popular.

I prefer Annabelle to Annabella, and both have a lot of options for nicknames if that was something you wanted.

Annabelle (although I prefer just Anna) or Mila.

Sophia and Chloe are waaay too common.

I love your daughters name, Maisie is adorable 💛
i was thinking about how to pronounce Mila, my husband is American so they tend to say Mee-Lah which is the way I like, I'm Australian and we tend to say just Mila (less emphasis on the ee) which I don't like as much.

I'm thinking of taking Sophia and Chloe off my list - you're right. Too common.

I also prefer Annabelle :)

Argh! Wish we were having twin girls so we could have Annabelle and Mila!! 💜💛

If it was your cat then I could see why it would put you off a bit, but if it was just your parents' cat then it wouldn't bother me at all. :)

We got the cat when I still lived with my parents but that was just a year or so. She was seen as more my little brothers cat. Still ok? She died about a year or so ago. Haha the things we have to think of!

Doesn't Mila Kunis pronounce hers like My-la rather than Meela? I think either or is nice. It's like the name Ava, everyone pronounces it Ay-va but I much prefer Ah-va. You just have to think of if people are ever going to say it the way you intended because having your name constantly mispronounced is probably annoying.

Thank you :flower: Feel free to add it to your list! She's Maisie Grace. Grace, although a common middle name, is a tribute to my best friend who passed in 2009 and while it is a common name, I couldn't not use it and I now see so much of my best friend in Maisie even though she's still small.

My partner automatically pronounced it Myla, which is still pretty but now quite how I was saying it in my head, and he preferred Myla to Meela, and so in the end we vetoed it.

Still wouldn't bother me enough not to use it if I loved it! I think you're fine!

So strange! Maisie was another one of my names to go with Grace!

Maisie for my gran, her name was May but we used to nickname her crazy Maisie. Grace was my oh's grans name. I wanted Maisie Grace, but eventually we agreed on Gracie (Grace) May!

Although it is mega common it is really sentimental to us.

Gracie May is beautiful, and a touching tribute to both grandparents.
