As the title states really..

DD will be 4 months next week and these past couple of days, she's just not had any interest in her bottles, even though she's hungry! Feeding has become a constant battle, and with 5 7oz bottles a day, a vast majority of my time is taken trying to convince her to take it! She's also already on size 3 mam teats so it's definitely not the flow being too slow for her. It's like everything else is more interesting than her milk - has anyone else been through this? I feel like maybe if I dropped a bottle she would maybe be more interested, but I don't know if she's too young or would be getting enough? She was 16lbs 3oz last week x

I'd suggest dropping a bottle if you can, 5 7oz bottles seems a lot (apologies if I'm wrong, I breastfed but I've friends that ff and I don't remember them having that much). Maybe drop a bottle and see how she takes it after that!

She's a big girl (91st centile for length and weight and has been since birth) and would usually drain them so I'm guessing she needed it? I'm definitely going to drop one and see how she goes!

I have had a couple of times where my baby didn't drink as much and it drove me nuts. It was a struggle to get him to have 4 ounces. It passed though. For us it lasted for weeks. Try not to stress too much unless your baby is not gaining. My baby was only taking in 24 ounces a day around that time. Now at 7 months it's around 30 plus 2 meals.

I remember DS going through this at around a similar age, I stressed so much about it and nothing I did seemed to help, it took a couple of weeks to pass.

For us I think it was that he was just to interested in everything around him.

I breastfed but both of mine lost interest in feeding as frequently at that age. How many hours is she having between feeds?

Roughly 3 hours. She used to take the whole bottle after this amount of time up until this week so I don't know if it's some sort of natural readjustment to the amount she needs?
