4 or more children group

I would really love to hear from those of you who have large families, i have 7 children and am TTC number 8 (my last) (yes i am sure!!!)
I used to get looks as though i had 2 heads when i was out with them all when they were little and ive lost count of how many times ive been asked if we have a tv.
Anyway hello to all of you please come and share your families here

I have four children, all girls ranging in age from 20yrs - 5 months.. I am on the fence on weither we will have just one more..last pregnancy was tuff.

ive got 9 kids rangin from 24 to 6 months, get loads of comments such as u must be mad but also lots of nice comments too well to my face anyway ..lol.

i only have 2 so far but im the second one of 5 ( 25-11 )and DH is one of 4 (23-7) and we want at least 4 children possibly more since mine are so far both boys if i get 2 girls i might stop at 4 if i get 2 more boys im likely to keep going lol

Hi Im Simone and I have 5 boys and would like to try for number 6 sooner than later. I'm going to be 37 next month and want to be done having children by the time I turn 40. My signature says how old my kids are.

Also I'm number 3 if you don't count my Angel Brother of 6. He was the first of my siblings. I have 3 younger siblings.

I am going to read this thread with interest as I'd love a big family.

My H said he would only like two but now we have one he has said he would love to have lots as he never expected to love anyone as much as he loves Oliver

What would you ladies say is an ideal age gap between babies?

I ask myself the same question. I had my first three really close together ( about a year and a half apart ) I think that was too close. I might have one more and I think 2 1/2 years sounds about right...have one just getting out of diapers b4 the next comes along..

Muddles Well for me I'm happy that my older 2 are 27.5 months apart. I got pregnant just after my oldest turned 18 months old. I'm also happy that there's 3 years 5 months between my twins and Lennox, but I wish my twins would have come sooner than 6 days shy of 12 years apart from my oldest. But it all works out in the end though! GL!

I'd like to get pregnant again soon, but I know it's not going to happen so quickly. Because of bfing I have not gotten a pp af yet. Maybe once Lennox weans she will return.

Thanks ladies. My H is happy to try for another as soon as I am ready but I'm thinking a year of enjoying Oliver before starting to try for another would be good. Also need to wait until af comes back too and I'd like to shift the last bit of pregnancy weight too.

my first 2 were 11 months apart and although i loved it it was very hard work especially as i went on to have the first 6 in 7 years, i then had a 13 yr gap before Levi and am now hoping to concieve soon with Levi being 19 months

my name is annmarie im from northern ireland and have 4kids courtney 10, kian 6, mackenzie 5 and cole 8months. when i was pregnant with Cole i said this would deffo be our last baby as we knew he was going 2 be a boy i thought 2girls and 2 boys would be just right BUT im feeling broody already and would love 1 more lol although i am worried abt money and if the other kids would miss out on attention, dh thinks we should stop now as we had our first dd when i was 18 he would like to get the kids up abt and enjoy life but im not a selfish person i dont care abt missing out on me time i just love having a baby in the house, i think if i was going to have 1more id wait till cole was 18months b4 trying

I have 5 children... Rebecca(12),Hollie (10),Charlie (5),Ruby (2) and Alfie who is nearly 11 weeks. Not sure if we will have any more but then again i said the same after number 3 and number 4! lol
