My oh is worried that we will make her fat but i'm saying if she's still sucking her fingers after 4oz then she wants more.
I have told him they won't overeat and will spit up what they can't fit in their belly.

Heya.

We had to move up to 5oz and 2 and a half weeks! She was draining 4oz alot of the time. Then moved up to 6oz at 4 weeks as she started draining 5oz sometimes too. She currently has 4-6oz every 3 hours (roughly as she is fed on demand not to a schedule).
You cant make a baby "fat" and they will take what they need, and like you rightly said if they drink too much they will just throw it back up again. xxx

My LG will be 6 weeks on sunday and she was drinking 5oz every 1-2 hours and then bringing it bk up bcoz her stomach just couldnt handle it, i rung my health visitor and she said if shes having 5ozs she shud be going at least 3 hours between feeds but she wasnt and they said to change her onto aptamil hungry baby milk hopefully this will start to work. Some babies can handle more milk than others i think :)

My 5 week old is very greedy and wanted 5oz at 2 week old but he vommed constantly so was clearly too much for him he is on aptamil and I think they're a lot hungrier on that though seems to speed through them lol he's settled a bit now and taking 4-5oz still at 5 weeks and has stopped being sick x
