Where my ovulation day is on special day, October 30 my sons birthday, can't really bd today, Novemer 21 celebrating my brothers 30th, December 18th my daughters birthday and now 9th Jan which is my youngest birthday.....am I losing out not dancing with Hubby on ovulation day?

I would just do it the day before. Some people have said that there may be less of a chance of conceiving on the day of ovulation because the egg is short-lived and the sperm can take a bit to get where they're going. I think DTD the day before ovulation and/or a couple days before that should give you plenty of opportunity to get pregnant.

Day before definitley works, some say that the egg likes it better when sperm is waiting there. So when you know that there is a special day on the day of ovulation then try to do it all 3 days prior to it. I know that can be hard with kids.

there is no guarantee on day of. We don't know the exact time that the egg is released. IF only we did.
