The sweet potato hummus looks really good!

Also, the chickpea hummus recipe calls for using tahini, something most of us probably don't have on hand (actually, it's delicious on toast with a drizzle of honey, so it's worth getting some if you don't). But it also has a strong flavour that some babies and adults may not like, so I'd recommend also trying this Nigella Lawson hummus recipe which substitutes peanut (or other nut) butter for the tahini. It's really good, doesn't have the same bitterness as traditional hummus, and means I'm more likely to make it because I tend to have nut butter of some sort lying around more so than tahini.

You can skip the tahini and your hummus will still taste great!! You can make may variations, Ive made chipotle hummus (for hubby), cilantro, sun dired tomatoes, roasted garlic and bell peppers, you can add olives, jalapeños (not for baby of course)…
