5 Week 4 Day, first time mummy...anyone free to be a buddy :)? very nervous!

Hi everyone,
I'm 5 week 4 days today and very nervous! I found out on Friday so phoning a midwife tomorrow, I'm so eager! My partner is excited but doesn't want to get his hopes up so he is being a bit quiet about it...but got into bed last night and thought I was asleep and spooned me holding my tummy !
Is anybody around the same time as me (December baby) or in a similar situation who wants to buddy up ?

Hello! I am due Jan 12th, so a bit behind you. I'll also be a first time mom as well though. And my dh is a bit hesitant because we miscarried last time, so I can understand how that can be too.

Hi, congratulations I'm due the end of December (so I think, as my periods were always all over the place!) so not too far behind ! I have just made my first Midwife visit, they can't see me until next Wednesday and gave me a time my partner can't make I'm so exited though! X

I'm glad you've got one set up! I'm sorry your oh wont be able to be there. That is a bummer. Hopefully he will be able to be there for the scans!
I am worried I may not be able to get my appointments in where my dh would be able to come. I hope so though.
Do you know how far along you should be at your first appointment? I have yet to set one up.

The midwife I spoke to said roughly 7-8 weeks and they usually see you. I'm 7 week tomorrow it's torture having to wait the first one is just full of information for mums really just about what to do and not to do she said, so is isn't essential anyone needs to come along.

Well with my history I thought it best to get myself booked in ASAP. doctor was happy with everything at the moment but monday feels like it's taking forever to get here! I can't wait for my first scan just so I know I'm really pregnant!

My midwife office just called this morning and they had to change my appointment...now I am waiting until June 26th I will 10+4. Seems a little silly to have one so late when prenatals help educate you on the dos and donts - I will already being seeing the light of the second trimester!

I had a molar pregnancy in 2010 but this will be my first baby I'm 21 and I'm 5 weeks 6 days I've been giving edd for 31st January early feb 2014 lol x
