We're on team yellow so we had two names to come up with

Since about 15 weeks we've both liked:

Boy: Quentin Anthony William (then surname)
Girl: Megan Ameila (then Surname)

he has now decided he prefers Freddie! as our boys name, if anything i'd settle for Quinn, but the middle names don't flow then (the boys middle names are the grandfathers middle names which has kind of been tradition in his family)

Ladies Help! i'm not keen on Freddie at all and need some alternatives!!!

TBH I really like Freddie, and i think that if you change the middle names around it flows better .

Im not sure on your tastes, but names i like are:

Joseph
Oliver
Archie
Lennon
Finley
Finn
Flynn

Good luck. xx

I love Quentin Anthony...!

So do i! but when i asked him what made him change his mind, he was worried that it would cause torment and name calling at school.

personally i don't see how, it's not a common name but there are several really quiet famous Quentin's.

Just wanted to say we'd had team yellow names picked out since TTC, and changed the blue name just 3 days ago!!!! Feels soooo right too, strange!

We're in total agreement now, but it did take a day for OH to come round to it, now he thinks it was his idea... a good way to go about it... let him think he decided!!

Personally i don't like Quentin, Quinn or Freddie :dohh: Not much help am i .

I really like your original pick. I'm just not fond of the name "Freddie"... it makes me think of Freddy Krueger. xD The only person I've ever liked it on was Freddy Mercury. ;)

I like the suggested compromise of "Finn" too but prefer your initial pick. I don't see why he'd be worried about bullying - to be honest it's a cool, unique name... the name of the coolest director in Hollywood.. ;D Freddie is, in my opinion, a "dorkier" name. There was a younger boy at my school named Quincy who was never made fun of for his name, and was honestly quite popular.
