This seems to have just started recently.

Lately, its impossible to 'fill' my daughter. Right after dinner (where she's eaten almost the same amount as an adult) she says she's hungry and wants a snack.

I usually allow her to have fruit for snacks.

Yesterday for breakfast, she had two slices of toast, plus a bowl of cereal and lots of fruit. I think she still could have eaten more.

At this age, is overeating a concern, or is it best to allow her to eat whenever she's hungry?

She's not overweight.

Maybe it's a growth spurt? My 5 year old son has times when he will eat tons. And as long as it's not all snacky food I don't worry.

I have to make sure my DD eats plenty of protein-filled items or she is always hungry. Cereal doesn’t generally cut it for her for breakfast because it’s usually mostly carbs, but eggs seem to keep her full longer. She is almost 5 and she’s like an endless pit!

My 5 year old is the same right now! Did your LO start school this year? Ever since DS started school he's been almost impossible to fill up which is hard when he eats a very limited amount of foods lol.
